MJ's Family Martial Arts Center

MJ's Family Martial Arts Center is now offering private and semi private lessons in the middle Tennessee area.  

We teach a style of martial art called Sho Gigei Karate.  It is a blend of various arts primarily Tae Kwon Do and Wado Karate. Sho Gigei Karate was created by Sensei/Sa Bum Nim Mark Johnson and given life in February of 2007.  Sho Gigei Karate is an evergrowing and evolving martial art always willing to be added to for improvements.

1.  I will practice in the spirit of martial arts.

2.  I will develope self-discipline in order to bring out the best in myself and in others.

3.  I will use martial arts only to protect myself or others from harm.

4.  I will never be abusive or offensive towards others.
